Set up welcome messages

Greet new members with a clear message that points them to your rules and important channels, plus an optional image designed in the dashboard.

PathDashboard → Your server → Welcome

Choose delivery​

  1. Enable Welcome Message.
  2. Write the message, such as Welcome @user to Wicks Support.
  3. Choose a channel, or select Direct Message.
  4. Save and test with a new test account.

Private DM welcome messages require Premium and may be blocked by the member’s Discord privacy settings.

Design the welcome image​

The designer lets you upload a background; resize and position the avatar; style the username and welcome text; add another image; and send the result as an attachment or separate message.

Use Reset to Default if an item moves outside the canvas and you want its original position back.

Expected result

When a new member joins, Wicks sends the message and image using their real account data instead of the preview placeholders.

No welcome message?
  • Check the selected channel and Wicks permissions.
  • Make sure the message is not empty.
  • Check Premium and the test account’s DM privacy.
  • Try a smaller background image if upload fails.
