Set up tickets

Give members a private support channel and decide who can claim, close, delete, add users, save copies, and send reminders.

Before you start

  • Create a Discord category for tickets and a private log channel.
  • Create a support-team role and place it below Wicks.
  • Give Wicks Manage Channels, View Channels, Send Messages, and Embed Links.
PathDashboard → Your server → Tickets

Create a ticket category

  1. Click Add Category and name the support type.
  2. Choose the Discord category and log channel.
  3. Select at least one support role.
  4. Choose an emoji, display type, and select-menu description.
  5. Optionally enable Embed and set its description, color, and background.
  6. Save changes.

Choose ticket permissions

Staff permissions include claim, close, delete, add users, copy, and reminder. Member permissions include close, copy, add users, and reminder. Keep deletion with staff so a member cannot remove a conversation before it is logged.

Working hours and Embed

Enable Ticket Working Hours to limit new tickets to a start and end time. Enable Use Embed to explain response time and what information members should prepare.

Publish the opening message

Use /ticket setup for the basic panel. Premium Message Setup lets you select the channel and categories, add a 16:9 background and horizontal line, then publish from the dashboard.

Test the result

Open a ticket as a regular member. It should appear under the correct category, stay private to the member and support team, and record events in the log channel.

Premium text commands cover close, add or remove user, claim, reminder, and rename. See ticket text commands.

No channel created?
  • Check Manage Channels on the category.
  • Confirm the ticket category and support role.
  • Move Wicks above the support role.
  • Republish the panel after changing categories or buttons.
