Set up color roles

Let members choose their name color without asking staff to update roles manually.

PathDashboard → Your server → Colors

Create the roles​

  1. Choose a palette under Color Palettes.
  2. Review the colors and confirm creation.
  3. Wait for Wicks to finish; do not repeat the request while it is working.
  4. In Discord, make sure every color role is below the Wicks role.

Wicks needs Manage Roles. Discord may ask you to wait if several roles were created too quickly.

Customize the picker​

Choose a circle, heart, star, rectangle, or pentagon layout. Add a PNG, JPG, or GIF background up to 5MB, then enter the title shown above the picker.

Enable commands​

  • /colors publishes the available color-role panel.
  • /color number gives the member the chosen Wicks color role.
Test the result

Publish in a test channel and choose a color as a regular member. The account should receive only the selected color role.

Color roles are cosmetic

Do not give them management permissions or access to private channels because members select them themselves.
