Set up server logs

Logs show what changed, when it happened, and who performed it. Send different event types to separate channels to keep reviews manageable.

PathDashboard → Your server → Logs

Available events

  • Members: joins, leaves, bans, unbans, kicks, timeouts, nicknames, and roles.
  • Messages: single or bulk deletion and edits.
  • Channels and threads: create, update, delete, and permission changes.
  • Roles and server: role lifecycle and server updates.
  • Voice: joins, leaves, moves, disconnects, and voice state.
  • Content: emojis, stickers, and invites.
  • Wicks Actions: actions staff perform through Wicks.

Enable an event

  1. Enable the event.
  2. Choose its log channel.
  3. Select an Embed color that identifies the event type.
  4. Repeat for important events and save.

A simple layout is one moderation channel, one message-log channel, and one server-change channel instead of sending more than thirty events to one place.

Wicks needs View Channel, Send Messages, Embed Links, and View Audit Log. Keep log channels private because they may include deleted content or staff information.

Test the result

Edit a test message or create and delete a test channel. The event should appear in its selected log channel within moments.

Executor details can take a moment

Some events rely on Discord’s Audit Log, which may not update immediately.
