| Term | Meaning |

| Channel | A text or voice space inside a server. |
| Category | A group of channels that often share permissions. |
| Role | A set of permissions or identity assigned to members. |
| Embed | A structured Discord card with a title, description, color, images, and fields. |
| Audit Log | Discord’s staff log showing who made sensitive changes. |
| Slash Command | A command beginning with / in Discord’s command menu. |
| Alias | An alternative text name for the same command. |
| Timeout | A temporary block on member interaction. |
| XP | Experience points used to calculate a level. |
| Premium Bot | A dedicated bot linked to the server subscription. |
| Token | A private bot password that must never be shared. |
How to copy an ID
Enable User Settings → Advanced → Developer Mode in Discord, then right-click a server, member, role, or channel and choose Copy ID.
ID and Token are different
An ID is a numeric identifier used in settings. A Token grants control over a bot and must never be sent or included in a screenshot.
